It will leak the entire tank of gas out of the little know below the "CHOKE" text. Any ideas, or should I just replace the whole carb? The title says it all. It has a 17.5 Kohler engine. I've searched all over the Internet for an answer and can't find one. Before I go towing a 15 ft wooden trailer I want to make sure I don't F-up the transmission. The trailer feels pretty light, easy to push. Thanks for any help.
Sorry if this isn't the right sub for this, but I don't know where else to ask. I'll be closing on my first home in 2 weeks and am in need of a mower to handle the 1 acre property. My father has an old JD L110 in the backyard that runs but needs a new mower deck. From what I can see, they are ~$600 for a new deck. Another option I have is buying a used Toro Grandstand 48 off of a landscaper buddy of mine for $1500. I don't know the hours on either engine yet.

I have a JS-63 push mower that I love. It's a tank. This season It doesn't really want to start cold. I have to pull it for almost a minute before it will start. After that, and the engine is still hot, it will start at the first pull. I just replaced the filter, spark plug, and oil. Do I need to clean the carburetor? It has a Briggs and Stratton 121602-0269-E1 engine. Battery was not holding a charge all last year, hooked it up to the trickle charger last night. Tried jumping it with a jump pack and a car battery, no luck. Motor moves/starts to turn, but does not catch, so it's not the starter. Replaced the spark plug that looked rough. Sprayed carb cleaner into the carb, so it has fuel. Suggestions? Could the battery be bad in such a way that it doesn't allow it to be jump started? Hi all - my John Deere LA105 is having issues turning over or running cleanly if I get it to start. I’ve replaced the battery, spark plug, oil/oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and have tried starting spray, carb choke and sea foam. I *think* it’s a carburetor issue, which is what I feared because I’ve never messed with one at all. I checked YouTube for some help with no real luck of walk-through a or anything but was curious if anyone had anything like that or helpful tips. I know they can ...

I recently got a John Deere L110 for free, and I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask if anyone knows how steep a hill I can drive up and down? It does not have its mower deck or any weights on it.
